Welcome to Texas Saltwater fishing with Capt. Mike Caserta and Reel Fiddler Charters. I fish the Rockport- Fulton area bays as well as south through Corpus Christi to Baffin Bay. I have fished these waters for 26 years and have been a guide for 4 years. I have the finest equipment; Shimano Reels, Kistler and All Star rods and run a Blazer Bay Boat. I personally enjoy wade fishing best. Drift fishing trips are also available. The Blazer Bay is quite a comfortable boat to fish out of for the day.
If the conditions are favorable, surf fishing in the Gulf is an option during the summer months. Also, Jetty fishing the Port Aransas Jetties if you desire. I can also accommodate Kayak fishermen that wish to get to the back lakes of San Jose Island, Mesquite and Carlos Bays, although you must furnish your own kayak.
Whether you are a skilled angler, a beginner or taking the family (kids are always a pleasure and welcomed), I would enjoy making your day on the water an enjoyable event. Let's go catch some trout and red fish.
Wade Fishing Information
Wadefishing is for me the most enjoyable form of fishing there is. From the moment you first step off the boat, you enter a part of our environment foreign to most people. When your feet hit the bottom and you start into fishing mode, you will interpret which kind of bottom you have. Shell, sand, mud, grass, or a combination of these types - all this will help you determine how you want to fish an area.
The flow of water, the way the wind is blowing - all will start to be a factor. All of the sudden you will realize you are becoming a part of the system around you. As you move through the water fishing, looking for movement, changes in the bottom structure (sandpockets, dropoffs, shell reefs) will find your engulfed in the wonder of wadefishing. If fishing is a getaway experience for you then wadefishing is the ultimate. When your wading there will be nothing but fishing on your mind. As you become part of the bay system surrounding you. The joy when you cast to your first redfish or trout. The splash of the fish breaking the water, now you not only see it but you feel it. Water moving around you as the fish erupts, as the fish moves you move. Now it becomes a dance to capture the fish in its environment.
The exhilaration of having fish in hand, sun shining on your back, sea breeze blowing, that last splash of water the fish made next to you. A feeling you'll want over and over again. Come join me for an enjoyable day of wadefishing. A day of adventure and pleasure in our beautiful bay.

Cooler for your fish (Leave your cooler in the car)
Sunscreen and Hat or Cap
Texas Fishing License, Camera, Food and drinks
Wading gear (if desired)
We Provide:

We'll fillet and package your fish, except from Port Aransas
Cooler with ice on board boat provided
