About Muledance
Muledance Ranch and Outfitters, headquartered in Glorieta, New Mexico, offers over 30 years experience in hunting, fishing, riding and camping in the High Country of the Southern Rocky Mountains. We are honest, hard-working, and strive to provide you a safe, successful, and memorable experience. Elk, Big Horn Sheep, Mule Deer, Antelope, Oryx, Ibex, Barbary Sheep, Turkey, Grouse, incredible Angling and breathtaking scenery await you. Both Public and Private Land Hunts are available , but filling up fast, so contact us soon to book! We’re just 20 minutes from Santa Fe, so be sure to take some extra time to enjoy all the culture and beauty that Santa Fe has to offer. We will assist you in every step of the process, from application and licensing to taking aim with bow, rifle or muzzleloader. If you’re considering a hunt in New Mexico - we’re here to make it happen. We’ll also help arrange airport transfers and accommodations if you like.
Our acclaimed Fair Chase Hunts have the experience of Dan Berryman, Owner, Guide and Outfitter, and Beth Berryman, Owner and Artist. Our "Team" also includes local and professional Guides who know the areas, a talented and hard-working Camp Cook, and skilled Wranglers. We’re also proud of our fine group of mules - the best 4WD ever designed! Fully outfitted Hunt Camps include a 2×1 Hunter/Guide ratio, roomy canvas wall tents with wood stoves, padded cots, delicious and nutritious meals at a sit-down table, and creature comforts we all enjoy…(shower, sit-down potty, real silverware and plates, etc.) We carefully match our riders’ abilities with our mules (the mules really appreciate a first-name basis), and they will happily take good care of you.
Muledance Hunts
Fully Outfitted and Guided Fair Chase Hunt Trips start at $4500 per person. We’ll take excellent care of you, and guide you through every step of the process…from application to taking aim. Price includes all of our Outfitting and Guide services; beginning with what you’ll need to bring, answering any and all questions, mule or horse transportation to and from base camp, packing your gear, field dressing, all meals at camp, and a darn good time.
We’ll gladly mail you the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish Proclamation when they become available, for hunt dates and hunt areas, and assist you in the application process to better your chances at the draw. Meat storage, butchering, mounting and shipping is not included in our fee, but we make sure it is done properly.
Private land owner tags available! Yes, these are a premium price tag item, but they assure you a guaranteed hunt without worrying whether you’ve drawn a tag. Elk Cow tags available too!

All trips can be custom-designed, so please contact us to plan your adventure. We can even arrange LIMO pickup and return. All of our activities practice "Leave No Trace" ethics and strictly follow regulations and policies set forth by the US Forest Service. We are licensed and insured.
